The locals come to Bar Pazzo for their excellent wood-fired pizza and fun atmosphere. It's moderately priced with an informal environment. Try one of their delicious appetizers, such as the whipped ricotta or meatball appetizer. Their house-made pastas are also very popular.

 One of the most popular dishes is the ricotta cavatelli, made with roasted chicken, Brussels sprouts, Gorgonzola cream, and cremini mushrooms. Their salads are tasty, especially their wood oven salad. Their expresso bar is magnificent, as well as their getalo. You must try their Pumpkin Spice gelato. Ale Mary's

Located downtown in a historic building, Ale Mary's has everything you'd expect in pub fare. This café serves breakfast and lunch Mondays through Saturdays in a comfortable setting. The meals offer generous portions and are inexpensively priced. For breakfast, their breakfast bowls are quite popular as well as their breakfast burritos.

 For lunch, they have several salads, sandwiches, and wraps to choose from. The turkey cashew salad is one of the café's favorites. Try one of their delicious smoothies, such as the Spirit Lifter. Blue Bee Bistro

This is one of the best spots for breakfast or lunch in Scranton. You'll find delicious omelets, pancakes, and strawberry-marscapone French toast. Their lunch menu is very diverse and offers an array of sandwiches, soups, salads, and small plates with crab cakes, coconut shrimp or hot wings. The corn fritters are amazing! The servers are always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. This is an excellent choice for a quick meal.

Done eating? Don’t worry – there are plenty of things to do in Scranton. Some of the most notable attractions include the Houdini museum, Montage Mountain and even seeing a show at the Scranton Cultural Center. The Houdini museum is great for a day trip with family (especially the little ones). While Montage Mountain is awesome for skiing, or even soaking up the sun at the waterpark during the summer months. Lastly, the Scranton Cultural Center is definitely great for a night out to see a show by local entertainers.
